Many of our partners in Central Ohio offer ESL courses and are doing a great job. We do not want to duplicate services, so we decided to fill in the gaps. Many English second language learners lack safe opportunities to practice the language skills that they are learning. `Our two sections of ESL conversation present a total of 5 class opportunities every week. This is only possible through the service of our volunteers who go through an intense teacher training for virtual instructors. 38 students attended our online classes, with an average of 8 students in class every time a class took place.
