We feel fortunate to have received these funds to impact the lives of our Franklin County clients directly. 

In October of 2021, Our Helpers was granted funding from the American Rescue Plan allocation passed down to the City of Columbus for housing stability assistance. These ERA-1 funds cover past due rent, past due utilities, and three forward months of rental assistance.

In two months, Our Helpers distributed $95,000 with much more to come in 2022.

From our caseload alone, we have avoided eviction for clients over 20 times. This is a remarkable accomplishment and we feel fortunate to have received these funds to impact the lives of our Franklin County clients directly.

In 2022, we expect to distribute double the 2021 amount of funding to the community members who qualify. The urgency of these funds is eminent.
